What does your bio line read on LinkedIn?
Experienced social media marketer in the nonprofit sector.
Cool. But what if it were completely honest?
I literally do it all. Copywriting, developing platform strategy, crafting the tone and voice for the brand, mapping out a content calendar, designing graphics, replying back to followers, analyzing analytics, providing insight to internal management, covering events, editing down videos to fit the format length for different platforms, explaining analytics and platforms to colleagues, – plus, I do this all on a shoe-string budget & as a team of one.
Sound familiar?
Working in the non-profit sector as a social media marketer can be really hard. Being scrappy is the name of the game and taking advantage of free social media management tools can help leverage your strategy.

If you do have a small budget or are able to advocate that a scheduling platform is necessary for your job (because it is) – try Sprout. They offer a nonprofit discount as well as are all around the best.
